The Fantini Club of Cervia and Milano Marittima is a classic beach club dedicated to leisure time, sports and well-being. It comprises of a 15,000-square-meter area with a seafront of 100 meters and is one of the best-equipped beaches of the Adriatic Coast of Emilia-Romagna. It offers a number of facilities and services, making it one of the best beach volleyball destinations in Italy.

When Claudio Fantini brought beach volleyball to Europe from the beaches of the United States and Southern America in the early 1980’s, the beach of Fantini Club became the home to the first official beach volley tournament ever held in Italy.

Fantini Club offers fun-filled events and sporting or non-sporting activities from March to October each year. Aside from beach volleyball, the Fantini Club also promotes other beach sports. Other sports activities include table tennis, yoga, SUP, Paddle tennis, and basketball. The club has 8 modern sports courts available for playing beach volley, beach tennis, foot volley and beach soccer tournaments with friends. Along the beach, you can also access a well-equipped gym, restaurants, beach bar and mini club. Bibione Beach

The Bibione beach is one of the best places to play beach volleyball in Italy. It is an 8-kilometer long and more than 300-meter wide beach. In 2014, Bibione became the first smoke-free beach in Italy. The smoking ban stretches from the first row of umbrellas to the seashore. And because of its beauty and fun-filled activities, this beach has some of the highest number of visitors in Italy. What makes Bibione Beach more attractive to visit is the fact that every entertainment activity in Bibione is free. Activities such as sailing, jogging, walking, sunbathing and playing tennis, mini golf and beach volleyball are some of the highlights on this beach. You can choose between three different areas namely, Bibione Spiaggia, Bibione Pineda and Lido del Sole.

Bibione has fully-equipped beach volleyball courts which play host to a number of events and tournaments. All summer long there are beach volleyball tournaments to participate in.

Mizuno Beach Volley Marathon

Mizuno Beach Volley Marathon is an annual sporting event at Bibione beach. Organized by Raduni Sportivi, each year it reunites thousands of beach volley lovers not only in Italy but also worldwide. The participation is open to teams of athletes with no age limit and at any level of play. The 250 volleyball courts of Bibione and 2,500 teams participating make this event a true celebration of beach volleyball. The tournament has welcomed numerous big international names over the years, both to take part and to watch.
